The platforms most used by students in Italy:
https://www.idealista.com/ → One of the most popular real estate websites. Homeowners and real estate agents frequently post listings here.
Immobiliare.it → A platform where you can find both short-term and long-term rental offers.
Facebook groups → Housing offers are shared in Erasmus and city-specific student groups. However, special caution is advised against scammers.
💡 Tip: If possible, don't pay a deposit without seeing your property in person . Photos can be deceiving.
How much should you pay?
House rents vary from city to city:
Rome and Milan → Monthly rents are usually between €600 and €1000.
Florence, Bologna, Turin → between 400-700 €.
Small towns → Cheap options are available between €250-500.
Remember that in some houses, in addition to the rent, there are also condominio (apartment fee) , internet and bills.
